About Mission Green SL
Mission Green Sri Lanka is a youth-led, non-profit environmental movement dedicated to creating a greener and more sustainable future. What began as a local initiative has now grown into an island-wide effort, powered by passionate volunteers, professionals, and students from diverse backgrounds.
Through awareness campaigns, hands-on environmental projects, and community-driven initiatives, we aim to inspire change and encourage every individual to take responsibility for the planet we share.

A New Chapter from Old Pages
In a remote school in Karadipuwal, students often had to share torn notebooks — until our Reuse Me project delivered 200 recycled books made from unused pages. Teachers saw a rise in class engagement, and the students began their own paper collection drive to give back.
A Cleaner Coast, A Stronger Community
At our Nuraicholai beach cleanup, 30 volunteers became 100 in just two hours. Residents brought bins, kids joined in, and the event ended with a shared meal and a promise to keep the beach clean — not just once, but always.
